Offer: Organiser is offering to print a single submitted image from your portfolio on Canon’s fine art printers. Organiser may, with your permission and at its discretion, temporarily display your submitted image on its wall within the Canon space at the 2026 edition of the Visa pour l’Image festival.
Entry Period:from Monday 31st August 2026 - to 12:00 Central European Summer Time (“CEST”) on September 4th 2026 CEST.

ORGANISER AND SUBMISSION PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR
1. The Organiser is Canon Europa N.V. 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, the Netherlands (“Organiser”). Any company, any subsidiary, partnership or other entity which from time to time is controlled by or is under common control of the Organiser hereinafter will be referred to as “Organiser Affiliate” and, Organiser and Organiser Affiliate together will be referred to as "Organiser Group".
2. The Data processor, as administrator of the digital asset submission platform is Picter GmbH with its registered office at Hans-Preissinger-Str. 8 (Halle A), 81379 Muenchen, Germany.
ELIGIBILITY
3. All entrants participating in this Offer (“Entrants”) must be aged 18 or over.
4. Only one image per Entrant will be printed. Organiser reserves the right to disqualify Entrants who submit multiple images.
5. Images submitted after Friday 5th September at 12.00 CEST will not be printed.
6. Images must be collected in person by the Entrant from the Canon space at the Palais des Congrès at Pl. Armand Lanoux, 66000 Perpignan, France between Monday 31st August – Saturday 5th September.
WARRANTIES
7. All photographs must be original and taken by the Entrant. Photos must have been taken with a camera, and Organiser reserves the right to reject any images found to have been generated or excessively manipulated using Generative Artificial Intelligence. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that submitted photographs are provided in a format and quality suitable for printing. To achieve the best possible print quality, Canon recommends that submitted images have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a custom crop ratio of 29.7 × 42 cm (297 × 420 mm). Please note that images not prepared to the recommended specifications may require cropping or resizing before printing, which could affect the final result. The Organiser does not guarantee, the colour accuracy or appearance of any printed photograph and accepts no responsibility for any reduction in print quality resulting from the format, resolution or condition of the submitted file.
8. The photograph submitted by the Entrant must not contain anything which may be considered in anyway illegal or that which may infringe the rights of any third party, including protected symbols, intellectual property rights, moral or privacy rights.
Where you provide consent for Canon to temporarily display your photograph on its photo wall at the Visa pour l’Image festival, you also agree to the following conditions:
a. Any identifiable persons appearing in the submitted image must be aged 18 over and have expressly consented to their appearance in the image.
b. Please do not submit any images featuring celebrities or well-known personalities, including any participants in high-profile sports competitions.
c. Submitted images must not contain any brands, logos, trademarks, symbols or works of art belonging to any third party.
d. Submitted images must not contain anything which may reasonably be considered offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate or which may reasonably be expected to cause reputational harm to the Organiser, any Organiser Affiliate, or any third party.
9. The Organiser reserves the right not to print or display any images which do not meet the above requirements, including where the Organiser reasonably believes that the photograph may expose the Organiser, an Organiser Affiliate, festival attendees or any third party to legal, regulatory or reputational risk.
DISCLAIMER
10. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse to print or display any submission if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions.
11. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter, the decision of the Organiser is final, and no correspondence will be entered.
12. The Organiser shall use its reasonable endeavours to print eligible images submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions but does not guarantee that any images will be printed or displayed and shall not be liable where an image cannot be printed or displayed due to technical, operational, quality or other reasonable considerations.
PERSONAL DATA
13. Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Entrants. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
14. Picter GmbH with its registered office at Hans-Preissinger-Str. 8 (Halle A), 81379 Muenchen, Germanyis the Data processor and they administer the file sharing application platform.

JURISDICTION
16. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Amsterdam courts.
